Subject: Charity Records.

What is the point of donating an old track? This isn't really showing the charity much support is it? (or is it?)

Weller fans are offered live versions in various formats of so many songs in so many scenarios (who buys them?). If there was a new, unreleased track on this "Bollocks to Cancer" album, fans might buy it and the charity might get something. This is luke warm token support isnt it? Anyone know if the other bands are offering live versions of released stuff, or are they contributing new, unreleased work?
