...Frank was right
... today I saw the corpses of senior citizens stacked like cordwood on the side of the road and smelt the smoke from the insurance company's burned out buildings and wondered where all those humanitarians were going to go with no more insurance to give to Americans. I wept at all those billions of dollars gone, gone to never return...oh, Frank...why didn't we listen?

Re: Anyone heard from Frank? -- Frank, again, 13:25:45 03/22/10 Mon
I just looked at the Boston.com article and 2 things jumped out at me.
1) More medicaid money. The article says that Mass will get 2 billion more in Medicaid money. Right now my hopsital is suing the state because the governor isn't paying out the Medicaid money that is due to us and other hospitals. Maybe there will be more Medicaid money, but where will it go?
Taxes on Luxury insurance plans. If your insurance plan costs more that $10,500/year, you will be subject to up to 40% fine just for having it. That isn' if you pay $10,500.00. That's if it's WORTH $10,500.00. So those of us who stay in crap jobs because health care is provided will probably be fined for that "unearned income". But wait, there's more: Insurance premiums are going to skyrocket, so even a crappy insurance policy may be worth $10,500.00 by the time they come looking for the money.
But it's ok. the next step is amnesty for all the illegal immigrants, who will then be added to the insurance rolls.
It just gets better and better.
By "better and better" I mean I probably won't be alive when all the shit hits the fan.

Whether it is or isn't, how would you know. what with the alzheimer's and all.
Note the lack of a t in that word. Altzhiemers sounds like a chat room.

Hahahahahahaha
Yes, yes, quite witty, quite witty indeed.
I especially like the fiddle music.
Is that Rome I smell burning?
Luckily in future generations, history will be rewritten so the America just lost will appear to never have existed at all.
And I thought marriage sucked.

OK... easy there Francis. If ANY of you think that the actions of any single president, congress, or legislation is going to kill America, then you know nothing about our corporations. You will see Presidents assassinated, congresses disbanded and legislation repealed before you'll be able to pry the profits from their boards of directors' dead hands.
The average individual pays less taxes compared to income than at any point following the second world war. You have more technology and medicine at your fingertips than ever before. Stop with the hyperbole and make funnier jokes. You can't fight here, um... this the is the hate board.
And what kind of idiot [other than me] is posting at 7am? Is it really bothering you THAT much?

I'm posting at 7am because that's when I get into work at my job that I've stayed at so long for the health insurance.
Have you seen the times that Paolucci posts?
Talk about not having a life.
"Hmmmmm. 3am. I apparently have seen every porn site in the Internet. Guess I'll post on the Hate Board. Worst Post Ever."

...if only we had single payer coverage you could leave your job...
...I would say "and also your marriage", but I remember that you were free for about a week and then went back...boy talk about votes with real consequence...

I post at 3am, because I am single, without kids, and work nights, usually until 2am, that's of course when there is work.
As my job revolves around peoples disposable income, and seeing as people have little disposable income these days, my business is off about %80, thanks in part to eight years of a president who believed in "hands off the banking industry, they'll do the right thing"
, along with " Oil, who needs to worry about oil?" And who can forget the ever popular "Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, let's dump billions in the name of that Lie!"
Yes folks, I bring you "Bush's greatest hits!"
Now on the Republican reprise label, available on reel to reel, and eight track tape.
But for those living in the real world, they're available
in nightmare form, coming to you .... well... nightly.
