The first 7 miles is flat and not all that scenic. Then you hit the coast and go up a pretty long hill but you get a lot of views of the ocean so the scenery gets really good. The course flattens out from 13 to the end. The crowd support was fair to good and the aid stations were more than adequate. Entertainment along the way included bands and hula girls. My only criticism was that the course is run on the shoulder and left half of the left lane of a two lane road so you end up running on a slope a lot of the way.
