Subject: Opportunities to Sail On Lake Grapevine

If you've ever looked out at the sailboats on the lake and said, "Hey, I'd like to be doing that sometime" then here are 3 opportunities you might be interested in:

1) Grapevine offers a terrific four-day sailing seminar once a year, where you spend each day on a different boat with a different skipper. This year's begins May 31st, and the web site is
http://www.grapevinesailing.org/ and click on "Seminar" in the left margin.

2) Our next RAW night out is Saturday June 7, at Big Daddy's which is in Scott's Landing Marina on our east loop (and where the food is MUCH better than at Little Pete's). Weather and scheduling permitting, and depending on the interest level, Chris Reyher and I might have both of our boats available to rotate groups of interested RAW folks out from Big Daddy's floating back porch for a short sailing sampler. Depending on interest, we may start in the afternoon, take a dinner break, and continue after dinner, so e-mail me ASAP if you're interested AND how flexible you are for timing. One interesting possibility for Flower Mound / Coppell residents, is that we might pick you up from Little Pete's, sail your over to dinner at Big Daddy's, and then sail you back to the Flower Mound side of the lake sometime after dinner. Hmmmm.

3) If you haven't already done so, let Chris and/or me know if you are interested in crewing (no experience necessary) once in a while on weekend afternoons.
