For those of you on a tight running budget who are alarmed at the high cost of decent running sox, the House of Tar-Zhay has once again stepped into the breach. Their running sox (sold under the name Dura-Pro or something like that - it's in a blue cardbord sleeve) come in both a Coolmax and an acrylic blend and in both short tops and anklets. Limited product testing (OK - I've taken one run in each) has been positive. The Coolmax is very thin and silky (like wearing a foot-condom - "tres Sheik"). The acrylics are very plush and cushy - like running in bunny slippers. Didn't notice any seam problems around the toes like you get in a lot of cheap sox. Haven't yet seen how they'll stand up to the Maytag-test, but that's the point. We need lots of cheap sox so that we don't have to do laundry so often. And speaking of cheap, the Coolmax models go for $5.49 for 2 pairs while you get 3 pair of the acrylics for $5.99. Ladies, they do come in distaff sizes as well; however both the men's and women's models were located in the men's underwear section of Target (where most of you girls are probably loitering, anyway)

Kel, I know that you and you alone sell the highest quality running sox at a more than bargain price - but hey - sometimes we run in the dark and can't see the RAW logos anyway.
