Katie Couric and Baby Names-Chapter 3

She waited till Bethan and Tally were asleep so she could sneek out and buy the pregnancy test. The only people still awake were Drew and Staggsy.
"Where are you going at this hour"
"None of your God damned buisness" She slammed the door behind her in anger. Whoah. She was seriously stressed. She would have to stop, thats not good for the baby. If she is pregnant that is.
Buying the pregnancy test was the single most embarrassing moment of her life. The cashiers all had looks on their faces as if to say "you little whore".
She shut the bathroom door and realized she had no idea how to take a pregnancy test. Well, lets just say she figured it out eventually.
Waiting for the results were the longest two minutes of her entire life. When they were up She was afraid to look. But she couldn't just not.
Positve.
"Oh God" she said under her breathe. How could this happen. She was only fourteen. Everything she had ever dreamed of would never come true, because she would have to take care of this baby for the rest of her life. And Beans!!! How would he react? She had heard horror stories of girls who get pregnant and the fathers don't want anything to do with them. Beans wasn't like that though, was he?
She eventually went to sleep, although it took her like four hours.
The next day she acted like things were normal. But she knew in her heart things would never be normal again. When classes were over she decided that now was as good a time as ever to tell Beans. She climbed up the ladder like she had fifty thousand times before.
"Beans, I have something to tell you"
"Do you want me to dump Beatrice?"
"I'm pregnant" She probably should have told him that differently, but she couldn't take it back now.
He had a half shocked-half blank expression on his face. She felt weird now that Beans knew. It was like now it was honestly true, cemented, there was no convincing herself that the test was wrong now.
"What should we do?" He finally responded.
"Who should we tell first?"
"Niamh" (I'm not sure how to spell that)
"No!" The mere thought of her mother knowing freaked her out.
"Well are you hoping she just never notices?"
He was right. And it was better that she hear it from her than from anybody else.
"Alright, just give me a day or so. I'm going to sleep. All this is so exhausting"
In the morning Jax felt sick. Morning sickness. She was puking over the toilet when she saw Anya standing byt the door with an evil lookon her face that almost said 'I toldyou so' (Oh great now I have the song "hate to say I told you so" by the hives stuck in my head)
Jax lookes up, knowing what Anya must be thinking.
"How did this happen!!! You should have used protection or something! Did you just not care? You have an innocent little child inside you now, you slut"
Jax acted impulsivly and punched Anya in the face. Well, she deserved it, NO ONE calls Jax Duffy a slut.
