Those were the worst words Jax could ever here. She had to be lying. She had to.
"Is this true?" She directed her attention to Beans.
"No! We haven't even had sex! Jesus Christ I'm fifteen and already I supposedly have two kids!"
A handful of kids laughed, but stopped when Jax gave them an evil look that seemed to say "mind your own buisness".
The conversation then shifted again to Beatrice. "Oh really? Well then you're either lying or a whore!"
"My money's on whore." A voice from the back of the room said.
"I SWEAR TO GOD IF ONE OF YOU INTERVENE ONE MORE TIME I'LL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF YOU." That shut them up. "My money's on whore, too. But lets see what Beatrice says."
Beatrice looked a Beans, who was obviously on Jax's side, then back at Jax, then to everyone in the room. She was sweating and tears were in her eyes.
"Leave me alone!" She finally said before taking her books and rushing out of the room. Everyone started cheering as she left, and Jax felt a sense of victory.
"That girl was so annoying! I hope she never comes back!"
"Jax! I can't believe you did that. I've wanted to since the first day she and all her annoyingness came!"
Those were some of the lighter things that were said about her once she stormed off.
Eddie walked in, interrupting everything.
"Where's Beatrice?"
"I don't know." They all said in unison. No one, not even the most clueless of teachers pets were about to tell him what had just happened.
The rest of the day went pretty normal, but nothing could prepare them for what happened that night.
*That night, about 8:00, everyones just sitting around doing nothing.*
Jax was sitting in the living room with Beans, pretending to watch TV. What she was really concentrating on was her baby. Now when she thought about it, she didn't think about how it would ruin her life, but how she would love it more than anything in the world. It reminded her of Beans, of how someone she loved loved her back.
Suddenly is occured to her that she hadn't thought about what to name it. She knew it would be a girl, she didn't know how, she just knew. She always thought that she would name her children after someone, but she never thought about who. She wasn't exactly happy with anyone right now.
Name it Tally.
Whoah. Where did that thought come from. Why would she name her baby Tally? She didn't especially like the name Tally, and wasn't particularly fond of the first Tally. But the baby just felt like a Tally.
"Hey Beans?"
"Yes?"
"Lets name our baby Tally."
"And why on earth would we want to do that?"
"I don't know. We just do. Tally 2."
"Fine with me."
Then Jax felt a terrible pain in her stomach, unbearable really. It sent fear through her.
"Jax! What is it!"
"I don't know...I...I..."
That was when she fainted.
*Four hours later*
She woke up in a hospital room, Beans bye her side. She couldn't remember anything that had happened in the last five hours. She noticed Beans was crying.
"Beans? What is going on?"
He took a deep sigh, as if afraid to tell her. "Jax, you, um, had a misscariage."
Jax couldn't even respond. She didn't know what she was feeling. Sure now she could move on and live her life as it should have been, but she never realized how much she already loved this child. It was half her half Beans, like the ideal person in her mind, even if they weren't born yet.
She didn't realize that she was crying. The whole past week was a total blur. It was like all the life-altering things that have happened as a result of this didn't matter any more. Liek someone was playing a joke on her or something. What if someone that knew asked her about it? Chris, Tall, Drew and Staggsy would never even find out about all that went on. What if at some ten-year reunion Bethan or someone goes "remember when Jax was pregnant? All the ones that didn't know would be like "WHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!".
Everything was just so overwhelming. Or maybe now it was too underwhelming? She didn't know.
She was hugging Beans now. He whispered in her ear "It's okay. We'll be together forever, we'll have more childen. But we will never forget out first, Tally."
"Tally? When did I agree to name our kid Tally?"
Beans just laughed, and hugged her tighter.
Authors Note: It's finished! Please respond, I love off feedback. Did you think the ending was too sad, I often get accused of trying to make people cry when I write..... I wanted to give you guys a fun Beatrice-bashing moment in the beggining and then hit you with the sad stuff. I'll start a new fanfic soon I promise!
