A/N: This fanfic is about what would have happened if they were all stuck in the school at the end of the last episode. Mostly centered around Jax/Chris/Beans. Some other sideplots though. First chapter from Anya's point of view.
Words can not explain what I felt when I opened Chis's present. Soap. Honestly. That's just ridiculous. I guess what I mostly felt was loss, the loss of hope. No matter what I could always hang on to the hope that Chris still loved me, I mean it was obvious to everyone that he did. I knew that if I wanted him back I could have had him back. But I don't know that anymore. What really took the final smigin of passibility that he loved me away was when Jax opened her present, the designer earings. It was like those earings represented every time that he had comforted me, made me laugh, told me he would love me for all eternity. It was like he had taken all those things and given them to her instead. Now I don't know if they were ever really mine in the first place, maybe they had always been her's. All I knew was that he was the only thing in my entire life I had ever been truly sure of, and I was wrong.
RRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG. Beans' cell phone rang, bringing Anya out of deep thought. They all stopped talking and listened.
"Are you sure?"
"Is there really nothing you can do?"
"A week! That's ridiculous"
"Oh Well. Bye." He hung up, and had that look on his face that he always did when he was to be the bearer of bad news.
"Beans? What was that all about?" Jax asked him.
"I'm sorry to say this, but all the roads will be blocked for a week."
"Does that mean we're stuck here for a week?"
"What else would it mean, Staggsy!" Anya said sarcastically. She couldn't deal with this. She stood up and marched back to her room to be alone with all her problems.
Everyone was silent until Chris spoke. "Um, Jax, can I talk to you alone. Like now. Like right now."
"Uh huh." Jax really didn't want this. She had been deep in love with Beans since she first came to this school. Last year when he had told her he loved her, she pretended to be mad, but inside she was happier than she had ever been. She wondered why she pretended not to love him. All she wanted to do at that moment was throw her arms around him and scream "I love you" at that top of her lungs. But she didn't. Then she found out that he had only told her that to get her to move out. She had never heard a more hurtful thing in her life. When Chris told her that kissing her was a mistake didn't even compare. She didn't love Chris. She never would. Beans would always be the one for her. Even if he could never know.
When they got to Chris' room Jax was the first to speak.
"Chris, why did you give me those earings. They should have been Anya's."
"No, Jax. They are yours."
"Chris I don't want you pretending to love me out of pity. You love Anya, always have always will. You'll never love me and I'll never love you. period."
"So you're saying you'll never love me?"
"Well, no offense but. YAH. I love B...." She stopped suddenly. She couldn't believe she had almost said it. How could she be so stupid?
"You love who?"
"No one. I love no one."
"Then how do you know you don't love me?"
"BECAUSE BEANS'S IS THE ONE I LOVE. I'VE LOVED HIM SINCE THE FIRST TIME I FUCKING SAW HIM.I COULD NEVER FEEL THE SAME WAY ABOUT YOU, OR ANYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER."
All Chris could muster was a squeaky, "ok." Before there was a knock on the door.
