Well, they've been continually putting up Christmas stuff in The Square shopping centre, her in Tallaght, Dublin, as soon as Halloween is over.

But this year, the trolleys of hanging tinsels and fake greenery arrived last week. That means that with a week to go to Halloween, The Square already has its first Christmas decoration....

We'll soon be like the Australians and South Africans and everyone else in those Southern Latitudes... with Christmas happening in the summer instead of the winter!

And for the record, the first Irish television Christmas advert was broadcast this year in September!
