I dreamed about my mother only once, about a fortnight after her funeral, and now last night, 8 days before the anniversary I dreamed of her again.

Brig, my father and I were sitting in the living room around the table as we normally do and the door was closed over a little. I noticed a shadow pass as if someone had walked in. My fasther went to look and it was my mother who was standing in the hallway.

We all looked at her suspiciously (she was dead, after all), and the dream then turned to questions about where she had been all this time. We were trying to find out if she was really her, or her double. *L* I peeled back the collar of her sweater and yes, her name was printed on the label.

She looked quite healthy, though the Alzhiemers was still there. She was a bit confused, but rational.

I told my father about the dream this morning and he said that maybe Maureen knows her anniversary is coming up and she wants us tp say some prayers for her.

As good an explanation as any, I suppose.
