Hmmmmmm, the topic of the charity donations is always a tough one and it's quite upsetting when alot of hard work and planning goes into making a ridout successful to see someone throw in a few pence into the bucket if anything at all. Why does everyone bring easter eggs out and yet many are reluctant to throw in a quid or two into the bucket???

How about an annual fee (say �10) which entitles the scooterist to attend all rideouts and receive discount from do's etc. For identification, they receive a pin badge and a small sticker for their scooter (in case they forget the badge). People who don't want to buy an annual membership can pay on each rideout (say �3) so counting becomes easier and encourages annual membership.

I don't think this is much to ask for something which gives scooterists alot of pleasure and bearing in mind that the committee give alot of their time up for free and ALL the money is for charity!!!!
