Following this thread with interest.
Consider:
Chasewater, large site, plenty of parking, cafe, ice cream van, steam trains, water skiing, on the A5 - easy to find

Cosford, plenty of parking, cafe, free museum, good roads, central location.

Barton Turns( east of Lichfield, A38 ),plenty of parking, Waterfront Pub, cafes, icecream, canal marina ( lots of narrowboats ).

Bridgenorth, love to see scooters lined up in High Town, amenities dependant on day, High Town good views over Severn Valley railway, then............ride up to

Ironbridge, not so good parking, but out motorcycle cousins seem to like it, cafes, icecream, views.

And then, Shrewsbury - what about linking up with the heathens in North Wales? English Bridge/Welsh Bridge? Meet up in the Quarry Gardens.

Just my tuppence worth.
