Hi all

Something we are doing to help raise more money for Acorns in readiness for toy Run on 29 November.

TO THOSE WHO ARE NOT FAMILIAR HERE IS A BRIEF EXPLAINATION.

EACH MIDLAND SCOOTER RIDE OUTS (AROUND 9 EACH YEAR) HAS A COLLECTION BUCKET AND DONATIONS ARE MADE OVER THE YEAR BY RIDERS WHO ATTEND. MONEY RAISED FROM THE RIDEOUTS, SALES OF MERCHADISE AND OTHER EVENTS IS THEN PRESENTED TO THE ACORNS HOSPICE AND IS THE PURPOSE THE TOY RUN WHICH THIS YEAR IS SCHEDULED FOR 29 NOVEMBER 2009.

LASTLY THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ALL THOSE WHO GIVE. LIKE MANY CHARITIES ACORNS ARE REALLY STRUGGLING THIS YEAR TO RAISE CASH DUE TO THE RECESSION SO ANY CONTRIBUTION WILL BE GREATLY RECEIVED.
