Dez,

You will be sadly missed m8 by all on the scene!

From the time i first new you, when we pottered around on scooters 'til the early hours..often congregating around the back of the rendevouz cafe on broad st,(located where the Hyatt now stands!) parking up and going inside for a bacon buttie and a cuppa folowing nights out at Pollyanas, or the Top Rank suite!
Then on sundays, coming together @ Bingley Hall car park, for a sunday ride out.

That's when i first noticed a certain 14/15 year old, who would hang out, walking around in a parka, absolutley absorbed and fascinated by the scooters and the scene. I recall Paul Perkins kindly offering you a ride on the back!
That kid grew up to Dez as we no him today.

Dez the Young mod was born!
That young lad grew into a quiet, modest inoffensive fellow, who would help anyone on the scene.
Dez and Gran Sport are huge on the scene, and over the years Dez and his team have done much to restore some tired looking scooters and help solve many a mechanical or electrical fault, for a bewildered rider.

On behalf of my bro Mark and I, Mid Scoots and all associated with the scene, i wish you and your family every happiness with your new life down under. NZ i am led to believe!
Best Wishes Mate,
Simon Baker
