For all those that have previously taken up the mantle of chair for midland scooters will undoubtedly support me when i say that the tiresome constant hard effort sees little praise, and yet sometimes attains a few negative swipes.

I am saddened to see such recent comment/swipe and hasten to add if it weren't for the likes of Ted and now Dave, midland scooters could and probably would have faded away.

It needs the likes of Dave(s) and Ted(s) of this world, with such enthusiasm to keep the origins alive.

In two years time Midland Scooters will have been running for a decade, and without both of these individuals hard efforts in recent years i question if anyone at all would have taken up the reigns.

It ceases to amaze me that it is usually those that never lift a finger, who are the very first to offer crtisisism.

Secondly, i never see such individuals attending the AGM which is the forum for all and sundry to have their say in how the following season should be shaped.

In my honest opinion folks should come forward to support Dave and the rest of the Committee, the outriders in treakle town, MMSC, Aquarius SC AONSC and lone riders who over the years have assisted on the day.

There is an old saying....put up or shut up! Nuff said.
