Wouldn't leave the house without full set of inner cables, spark plug, length of petrol pipe, various size zip ties, gear trunnion and adjustable cable nipple (ooh err)and of course tools enough to replace at side of the road. Experienced the value of these 'essentials' when replacing a broken throttle cable at the side of the road on Saturday (my fingers are still thawing out!)

I think most people have their own list based on experience. Best thing about scootering is if your riding in a group there'll be someone who'll lend you what you need!
