Subject: More Playoffs Info

A Wartburg win this weekend gives the IIAC the best chance to get two teams into the playoffs for this reason; Coe would get the automatic bid having been out of the playoffs the longest and Wartburg would get a very serious look having only one loss, that being within the league. Their victory over a Wisconsin team helps them in strength of schedule. A Central win, would of course get Central the automatic bid but I think Coe would be questionable because of two reasons. First, their nonconference opener was against a weak opponent and second, you have a conference champion (Central) that lost its opener in nonconference play. These are small details to be sure but I think they would have some impact. Of course this takes into consideration that all three teams win out the rest of the way which is not a given.
