Subject: In Praise of Open Legs

Due to a knee injury this summer I was able to spend a good deal of time at a local nude beach. My wife and I are both smooth shaven and enjoyed the sights and relaxing in the sun.

We could not help but notice that on each trip to the beach that the same couples always seem to sit close by. Each couple always seem to set up and share a light snack followed by applying sunscreen or tanning oil on each other and without fail the women would turn with their backs to the ocean lay flat on their backs and spread their legs, providing a wonderful vantage point for the couples on either side of them.

Needless to say the wife and I found this to be somewhat erotic and looked forward to enjoying the views. My question to other couples and females out there, Is this behavior meant to be erotic ? Are the women really relaxing ? Is this just an exhibitionist release of some sort ?
I must add that we have never spoken a word to either couple and there appears to be no shyness on the part of either couple about being openly watched by the othe couples and the moment someone not of this group passes by the women roll over or close their legs.
