I prefer to look at the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll, where they are 38th.

Santa Clara has 7 votes. UOP only has 2.

[> Pomeroy has Broncs on edge of 20 Win Season -- Bronco66, 23:03:22 12/07/04 Tue

Ken Pomeroy's computer has SCU staring at a possible 19+ win season ...

Projected record* 19-9 overall (+ tourney) 8-6 (conference)
*Projected record is based on chances of winning, and therefore may not conform to the cumulative game-by-game predictions. This accounts for the unexpected results that
will inevitably happen during the season.
