or perhaps that's Knight (as in GU's errol)

Questions .... Questions ... Questions ....

and the Answers??? well let's PRAY to what ever Saint is the patron of Athletic Wellness ... [St. Blake of Gonzaga ... that's for our DonsCentral lurkers ;)]

ah yes ... health ...
Borchart, Rohe, Legge (and Kyle??)

I understand Jordan really suffered last year but the problem has been addressed and hopefully we will see a much more mobile Legge this year.

Brandon's back was also a big problem ... it would be great to have his shooting on track (2nd best FT shooter @ 82.8%)

Scott never seemed to get on track after missing the first part of the season with the broken finger ... seems I remember it being bandaged all year ... I agree it would be great to have him contributing at a higher level ...

as for Parham (6-8 F) he WAS the leading shot blocker for Coffeyville even in a backup role ... so that speaks something to his agressiveness ... and he initially (out of high school) signed with Indiana State -- if the problem was one of focus and attention I think LP can make an impression ... and according to his SCU bio his dad played in the NBA and in Europe ...
(all I could find on the net was ... )
E. Ill. U's -- LANTZ ARENA RECORDS
MOST REBOUNDS .. 24
Greg Parham, Akron vs. St. Joseph's
3/19/75

the name and date fits ... so perhaps that is his dad .. if so perhaps the aggressive/athletic gene is his ...

and could he be 3rd generation ???
any relation to the:
1948 BAA (pre NBA) St. Louis draftee
and 1950-51 NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE
GRAND RAPIDS HORNETS'
Easy Parham F 6-3 200 29 Texas Wesleyan'48
9gms 79pts 8.8ppg

more ramblings ....

18 games is a nice start back up the ladder ... and it isn't going to be easy in the WCC again ... USF is coming back, Gone-Zaga has "reloaded" and may be weakest at the guard position ... (maybe our turn there ... but inside they will be tough)

Pepperdine is going to try again ... and Holton up in Portland is starting to build his way ... USD can't be that bad (and unlucky??) two year's in a row (only SCU seems to have had that problem as of late) ... and we have to go to Starksville, Provo, and Abq ... the backwashes of baskeball boneyards ...

btw: thanks for the prop on the new Banner ... and thanks to those who started and fanned the embers here ...
