the SCU women ran into a "Laker-like" buzzsaw in team "Contra Costa" ... the lowly (2-4) Championship series bottom seed knocked off both remaining teams ("Golden State" & "South Bay") with SCU women on them ....

SCU's SF ProCity title hopes reset on the tall shoulders of the Pride of Duncanville -- Linden "Toxic Avenger" Tibbits and his "East Bay" running mates including Nevada-Reno's Gary Hill-Thomas, St. Mary's Jonathan Sanders, and USF's Jovan Harris

first game of best of three Championship series against Defending Champion and League Season leading SF City is Mon, Aug 9 at 8pm in Kezar Pavillion ... admission is FREE ...

... well I saw neither the Game or the Box Score ... but why should that stand in the way of a good headline???

Hell that type of journalistic integrity never stopped the great Yellow Journalist of any age ...

So six points (92-86) doesn't really suggest a spanking but did you see the first three quarters ???? ... yah just what I thought .... so you don't REALLY know if it was a run away and then they put in that 7-0 St Mary's guy Blake Sholberg .. now do you???

so it my story, and I'm sticking to it ... at least until someone who was actually at Kezar say differently ....

(next game Wed, 11 Aug, 8pm .... report on it or you get more of this drival)
