SV Tübingen announces the re-signing of "BJ" Brian Jones. He became the fans´ favorite in 2003/2004 and was the most important player when winning Bundesliga South League scoring 21.2 ppg and giving 5.4 apg.

Sports Assoc. 03 now "Walters Tigers"
TÜBINGEN (tol). The Tuebinger tool manufacturer, Walter AG, the new main sponsor and the Baskeball Bundes League bound Sports Association 03 Tübingen signed a two-year contract on 13 August. The Basketballers from Tübingen becomes immediately under the name "Walter Tigers" and on their jerserys, and playing field becomes the Walter Logo affixed. The name "Tigers" is to symbolize the bite of the team, it was stated in a press release.


Hey!! I like it ... The Tigers .. a MUCH better name than a lot of the German 1st Division teams ... good even Grrrrrrate ... for BJ
