10.09.04 -- In its opening Exhibition contest the Walter's Tigers of the German 1st Division Federal League (Bundesliega) romped over the Osnabrueck Sports Club ... 104-73

BJ lead the Tigers with 16 pts and 10 assists in the first game of their Northern Germany pre-season 5-day swing against teams from Osnabrueck, Bremerhaven, Rist-Wedel and Oldenburg.

Joining BJ on the Tigers is 33 yr old forward Brian Clifford. The "US American" is in the possession of an Irish passport. In the last season Clifford, the 2.02 meter (6'9") tall Rebound specialist averaged 16 points, 12 Rebounds and 4 Assists with the Finnish 1st Division Pyrbasket Tampere.

The former Metro-Atlantic Rookie-of-the-Year (90-91), and three time all conference selection is still among the Niagara Univ. Purple Eagle leaders in pts (17th), steals (3rd), rebounds (8th), and assists (7th).

Clifford made the first Triple-Double - Feb. 2, 2004

Finnish League Pyrbasket (Tampere) smashed down championship favourite Honka by a 29 point margin and their new EU-player Brian Clifford (202-F-70, college: Niagara) was unstoppable. Clifford doesn't look like a modern basketball player with his slow feet but his hands are soft and his game is very effective. Against Honka, Clifford had SM-League's first Triple-Double of the season with scoring 16 points, rebounding 14 times and giving 13 assists.
