the Broncos are actively recruiting ,,, the Broncos take a more quiet approach to recruiting but are looking for quality individuals ...

at this week's Breakfast Club meeting those attending got a chance to see the results of last year's efforts ... four young men who look to be important parts of SCU's hoops future ...

all four commented that Santa Clara's academic reputation played a big part in their decision to come here ... Mitch Henke said he liked the fact that the team interaction (paraphrase) is not as "cut-throat" (not his words) as other schools he is aware of ... (hey it's that SCU Family thing again) ...

so the Broncos will continue to look for good *student*-athletes ... and perhaps we will hear of another early signing ... and it may be that a current "walk-on" will be receiving a "ride"

(btw -- food for thought -- since that other Private Silicon Valley university also suffers from "academic" qualification woes ... perhaps we can get a couple of their DNQs .... "Listen -- we think you are qualified to study and play at a high level ... how about considering the OTHER Silicon Valley institution that counts ... and the one that plays the Farm in it's own backyard ... and while we are selective we would consider excepting you AND extending you a scholarship offer ... and with your help and future success in life ... might just show them they made a ill-advised decision in not extending the same to you.")
