He had 12 points and 8 boards tonight in a 66-64 win over SJS.He might be coming around. In the post game interview he told DLew he doesn't mind coming off the bench, as he and Niesen are getting around the same number of minutes.Of some significance was Sean Denison getting 8 or 9 points in just 16 minutes.He might be playing himself out of a redshirt year. I think you only get 5 or 6 games before the staff would have to sit him if they were to redshirt him.

If Legge performs, Niesen and Denison continue to improve(although Neisen had only 2 points this evening),Howell continues his workman like effort and Borchart comes back healthy, the Broncos may have enough depth up front to overcome the lack of a dominating presence. I know that's a lot of ifs, but with just steady play from the 4's and 5's, there's enough talent in the backcourt to be a decent team.

Personally, I'd think it would be best to redshirt Denison. Physically it would be the best thing for him. I'd think he'd be far more effective/productive his fifth year (if he has one) than this season.

No argument. Denison would benefit from a year of working on his game, lifting and just physically maturing.He could well be All Conference or more as an upperclassman. BC websites described him as being highly motivated & having a great work ethic. I think the question will be whether Davey feels he has enough up front without him.
