MOST definately Upper Carboniferous/Lower Cretaceous! As for the pegmatite inclusions, I think you will find they are fossiliferous Limestone deposits...containing typical Jurassic Ooids, from a predominantly explosive batholithic origin, of course.

i think u guys are missing the bigger picture of this image...that the coulmnar jointing is horizontal when it naturaly forms verticaly, so there must hav been some major folding
