Hey folks, ready for my moving house, I’m having a big clear out of all my gear. I’d rather see some freshers set up with decent gear than ebay it. Here’s your chance to grab some bargains. These items are on offer to Leeds, Manchester and Lancaster Uni clubs – so to cross my palm with silver gets the goods. I’ve tried to be fair on pricing, so there’s not much wiggle room TBH, but if you want to ask you can – I’d be more willing if you wanted multiple items. I can post or bring them to you (likely this week for all locations). Or I can post it to you, at your cost?!

[b]£70 - Rab Atlas 500. 2006 Version. Excellent condition.[/b] Approx 1.3kg. Red & Green. Includes stuff sack. Used on perhaps 10 occasions whilst car camping, always with a liner. As a 2006 (purchased new in 2007) it is one of the bags made and filled in Sheffield (UK). Rab have been making excellent quality down gear for decades, and a brand to be trusted to deliver quality. Comfort rated to 0'C, but i've used it to -4 whilst sleeping in the car fully clothed in Scotland.

[b]£15 - Petzl Elios Helmet, Size 1.[/b] White. In used but good condition. A hard shell helmet designed for rock climbing, caving and mountaineering. High density expanded polypropylene foam headpiece on the inside and a thermoformed ABS outer shell, providing both lightness and strength. Protects against the chances of being hit multiple times by ice, rock and falling leaders on club trips
[b]£17 - Trango alpine Equalizer (6 foot version) (Brand New & unused).[/b] Got two of these bad boys in the states but only use one – Not available in the UK. Ideal for beginners as a means to automatically set up equalised, independent and redundant belays. Rated to 25kN.
Here’s what Trango has to say “The perfect solution for quickly equalizing up to three placements. Use it on ice or in the alpine for a speedy anchor, carry it on multi-pitch bolt routes for a quick anchor at the belays or use it as a super long runner. While ideally suited as a self-adjusting anchor system, it can be made non-extending by tying an overhand knot in the center loop or by clove-hitching at each protection point.”
[b]£7 - Berghaus Wind Resistant Fleece.[/b] Medium, Good condition. Fine woven fabric with abrasion and water resistant patches on elbow and shoulders. Zip closure, two external pockets, soft hemmed elasticated wrists, soft lined inner neck and elastic draw cord waist.
[b]£4.50 – Black Diamond Oval Wire gate. New & Unused. [/b] Bought for Yosemite a year or so back, but left in the UK. Light weight, good biner.
[b]£6 - Thinsulate 40g Fleece gloves with leather palm (Large).[/b] A good winter walking glove or perhaps a belay glove (leather palm) for the cold wintry march which is in order. Not dexterous enough for use in Scottish Winter.
[b]£8 - Berghaus Polartec fleece Gloves (Size M>L) New & Unused.[/b] A good winter walking glove or suitable as a liner if you have larger hands. May fit well inside a size large gauntlet style Scottish winter glove.
[b]£ 3 -Wild country Rockcentric size 10 [/b](Ok condition, no freys or burrs, pretty straight)

[b]£8 - x4 Faders Chromoly Screw Gates. [/b]Indistructable. Bomber. And cheap. They’ll do the trick for all kinds of road side trad and sport cragging .In used but good condition.
[b]£2 - DMM Chalk Bag[/b] – Needs the drawstring replacing. But is a decent size and comes with a waist clip loop.
[b]£2 - Petzl Chalk Bag[/b] (small hands i.e girls)
[b]£2 - Clogg 60cm Dyneema Sling[/b] (approx 3cm wide). Basic, used but ok condition.
[b]£2 - Needlesports Screw Gate. [/b] – Basic, used but ok condition.
[b]£2 - Field & Trek Figure 8 Belay/abseil device. [/b]– As new (unused, but with odd marks from being racked with other gear). What it says on the tin.
[b]£4 – All Mountain Ski Gloves.[/b] Extra Small. Gauntlet style, Insulated, water resistant with nice fleece inner. Pre curved fingers and padded knuckles. Used only for a weeks light ski-ing. Reasonably dexterous, would possibly suit a girl as a Scottish winter glove also.
