Looks at the other girl, friendliness flushing back into his eyes. Smells her hand, then he icks her hand as well, tail quickening and thumping harder against the floor. He raises back up to a sit, speckled coat barely showing his ribs. He was the perfect weight for a border collie, showing he had only reccently gone without food and a home.

(I guess he weighs about 30-35 lbs. Maybe a little more since he's a male)
