Yes... there is no such breed as a mini doberman. They are related but the min pin came first.... the Doberman is named as such because they are actually Dobermann's Pinschers. They are a branch of Pinschers. The Min pin is a mini pinscher.... the doberman in a pinscher developed by a man named L. Dobermann..... Geez, this is certainly my biggest pet peeve. I wish I could scream across the world and tell all of the uneducated people there IS NO SUCH THING AS MINI DOBERMANS.... don't insult the breed. They are nothing alike!!!!!!
