No, this is not going to be a big issue. It's going to fizzle away just like all the other knee jerk liberal issue. IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE PEOPLE. IT'S NOT LOGICAL.
I have a strong feeling (actually more of a desperate hope) that most people take the position that this is crazy. The next step is lower classes start asking for money from the middle and upper classes because they were born poor and were discriminated against because they were poor whether it be by being refused a loan due to lack of collateral or what have you. The second most despicable thing in the world is someone who tries to get money that they didn't earn through their own physical or mental work at the expense of those who did. Now notice, John and Jane Liberal, that I said THEIR OWN. Not their ancestors. My ancestors sacked Rome in AD 476. Do I get a piece of the Roman Empire? You cannot justify reparations. Period. I understand that the reparations idea won't fly. This is just a symptom of socialism rearing its ugly head. It will not work because it cannot be allowed to.
