片名: The Holy Mountain 聖山

《遁地鼠》使尤杜洛斯基一夜成名，滾石與坡頭四的經理人Allen Klein隨即資助《聖山》開拍，結果公譽為超現實主義電影的極致。故事描述小偷嚐盡社會暴虐，得煉金術士點化，領他前往聖山尋覓長生不死的秘密。相比前作粗獷格調，這次彷似一次龐大的前衛劇場巡演，特藝闊銀幕影像奇詭絢爛，宗教符號層出不窮。醫治西方文明的題旨彰彰明甚明，小偷貌似耶穌，上山夥伴操控各式戰爭機器，經東方襌宗引導，大家方曉遵從純淨平和的生命。尤杜洛斯基飾煉金術士，自渡渡人，展示電影的最高層次是治療和解放人類精神(他至今篤信)。影響深遠，費里尼、塔可夫斯基、寺山修司、甚至Marilyn Manson的音樂錄像均有所汲取。壯麗超然的修行過程令人嘆為觀止，可謂他顛峰之作。(電影簡介轉載自百老匯電影中心BC Sunday場刊)

作品簡介
從單純的看風景和想事情開始。

－看風景：或許你可以戴著 headphone 打著瞌睡坐在椅上看一切的流動或靜止不動。
－想事情：當我們不用執迷吃巧克力和辮繩子有甚麼關係時，思想便能成為詩的序列。

導演的話
在我直正開始剪輯這部片的時候，我跟自己說：「嗯。這是一幅有時效性的圖畫。」

而要是任何的意思也能在語言文字間流失，這是語言／溝通的落失。我便試圖放棄一切「旁白」和「側面」。任由思想與情緒記憶氾濫。或直覺便是種最不能亦難以被屠宰的東西。然後便讓自已橫蠻無理地失控，跟底蘊的自我分手，讓直覺分散注意力然後對自己狡辯。

亦因為這種種，我便能做起太多不想不能被自己所理解的事來。
