Subject: just bought a 250 ODY

hey guys im new to the ODy world.. but hers the deal my neighbor bought a ugly ody a few years ago, for $1000
after he got board of it (he bought a bombardier ds 650 baja)
he ripped it completely apart to rebuild. just to have as a nice show piece in his shop.
he pulled it down the tyhe bare frame(its an 250 ody with the box chasis style frame) sandblasted it down, to bare metal, smothed out the edges, primed and painted every metal part it had.
he bought brand new rear tires, brand new tie rods(actually there hym joints) new coil overs for the front, new belt, clutch, had the gear box pulled apart and rebuilt, new front fenders and plastic's, pulled the head off and checked the top end, put in new gaskets, new coil, and plug, all new recoil innerds, painted the rims, new rubber by feet, carb rebuilt, and theres so much more i cant think of and stuff he forgot to tell me guaranteed

he did completely remove the cage, and the rear fenders and they are now missing in action. and no where to be found. the machine really is 100% beautiful. i bought it in pieces for $300. so far ive got the entire nose together, minus the feders bolted on and it needs new front tires(anyone know where i can buy em? or what size is supoposed to be on em?) the motor bolted in, the clutches together the gear box mounted the belt on, the harness run cleanly, the brake light mounted. and a few other odds and ends..the brake cable and throttle cable need to be replaced(they were cut) and on the wireing harness theres a whit square plug that i have no idea where it goes.... any help on the cables or the plug or anything else?

but overall the question is when done what is it worth? i have to many toys here as it is, do i sell it as is of finish it and sell it? if i can get 500 for it im happy. any help out there guys? i can prob get my buddy to host some pic's of it if anyone wants to see it. or email me at snowflake_sniffer@yahoo.com
