Subject: can you help with running problem

Hi, I have honda odyssey 350 that has not been run for a long time. I cleaned the carb and baught a fuel pump on ebay. When I got it started it would not rev out and it also won't start without dumping gas down the carb. We primed the pump and tryed most every thing. Could it be the vacuum to be fuel pump. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thank you for you support.
