Subject: Is my grandmother a Crosby?

My grandmother was raised by a family named the OReilly's but always thought she was a Crosby even to the point of naming her three boy's middle names Crosby. I would have to get my mom's genealogy out to find dates and places of birth . She lived her life out in Chicago, Il. U.S.A. My father was born in 1922, his name is Charles Crosby Whipple. Any info on this would be great !!!!!!!!!!!
