The spider woman looked a Mardrave with her usual soft
smile. "Well, I am afraid I can't think of anything to say. I confess I'm not used to being around this many people, or at least this many people who aren't trying to kill me."
Then she looked over to the boy who had now returned to his normal form. Suddenly, Alex came up to the tiger and calmly ran his sword through her. She glared at him in disgust as he wounded Redd, then turned and fled. She despised acts of cowardess like that. She bristled as he left, but didn't interfere. She knew there was nothing she could do either way, she knew no ways to heal, and she could not catch someone who could fly. So, instead, she just stood there, silently brooding.
