(OOC: Stupid Enter button...)

The sword hit, and the glow became even brighter--and Alex could see cracks starting to form where the sword had hit...as the mindless golem bellowed in rage, backhanding Alex and knocking him straight through a wall--and into von Rundsteldt's inner sanctum, an almoost temple-like place lit with candles.

The aged warlock sat in the center of a magic circle, hands held out in front of him, apparently in the process of casting a major spell. He looked up at the source of the interruption--then smirked.

"My apologies for not greting you properly, stranger," he said, raising his staff as the golem entered through the hole, cutting off Alex's escape. "But that can be easily rectfied. Welcome to my home--a pity you won't be leaving..."

And with that, he quickly mumbled the words of a spell...

"CRYSYTALES!"

A massive, razor-sharp spear of ice sot up from the ground beneath Alex, as te golem charged, hoping to catch him off-balance and finish the intruder off...
