Her eyes widened in surprise as he mentioned he was a vampire. The only true vampire lord she knew of was the Lord Dimitri Maximov, who was the most powerful Dark one in existence. Then when he mentioned being an angel as well, she started to understand why he seemed outwardly weak. His powers were in conflict. Angels did not exist in her world, only the power of the Dark was known. But she knew enough about humans and their beliefs to know what one was.
She looked at him sadly as he walked away. His parting words touched her. Forever alone. . .that was something she understood all too well. She had been doomed to be alone forever because of what she was, and it seems he was simmilarly affected.
"No one should have to be alone forever," she said so he could hear him, "No one should have to be alone at all. Why not go back to the others? I'm sure you fit in better that I would. Besides, your mission isn't over yet." she gives a little smile, trying to cheer him at least a little.
