 Vance jumped awake and nearly fell out of bed when he heard loud roaring and crashing and explosions. He ran out the door and danced around a bit, then ran back in the room and buckled on his belt with his books, pen, ink, and short sword. The last time something like this happened, one of the Sekers had written an earthquake because he was angry. Nearly knocked down the Great Castles. Vance ran out again and ran down the hallway, running into Black Jack who was standing outside Victor's room. "Oh, dear, so sorry! What's happening? Sounds quite serious!!"
