**The boy crossed his arms, a blue oval of energy enveloping his body as the fire just bounced away, deterred by such power. Nodding once in the direction of Jack, the boy flew up, attracting the attentions of the monster, allowing them to get just within reach before he whipped around and placed his hands to his forehead, palms forward.**
Cover your eyes guys! SOLAR FLARE!!!
**A brilliant strobe of light followed, blinding any who had not heeded his warning to cover their eyes. Luckily, it had the same effect on the beast, which was now dazed and really at the group's mercy...or was it?**
