Subject: captured shower water

If you shower water takes a few minute or two to heat, then consider keeping a bucket on hand to catch the cold water as you wait for the hot water. The gallon of water (or more)can then be transfered to your washing machine. Simply lift the lid of the washer and pour it in, then load the washer and turn it on. The washer will have a head start on the amount of water it needs for that particular load and you will save on your water bill. Or you may want to the water cuaght in the bucket to wash the evenings dishes.

I really like that idea. Saves money and the water supply.
