well i tried to move the reply but that didn't work out so well. anyway let's continue the discussion here, that thread is getting too long. like i said:

i think even if stages like icicle mountain and acid are available, no one's going to pick them. maybe in the finals when the stakes get really high, but for most of the matches people will stick with stages that dont' make them uncomfortable. the DK levels are pretty controversial so you could definitely take those out, but greens is a valuable fox coutnerpick (i don't like it myself but a fox player would feel differently) and since the cars on mute/onett give you plenty of warning i don't think they would be a problem.

anyway it's not often that stages cause any major problems in big tournaments. most of the worst problems have been eliminated by the FC bans.

smashboards still isn't up so i can't post there yet. i want to do so as soon as possible to prevent conflicts for travelers. so i'll post the date of sat april 3 (i think that was it), the rules you posted (that was you, right? "Rulz"?) and say that stage selection is tentative and that FC rules are a posisbility.
