My mother was born on September 7th 1918, Ballymullen, Tralee - baptised in St Catherine's church (part of St. John's, Tralee?)
Her name given on baptism certificate was Margaret Harrington and her mother's name also Margaret Harrington. One witness name of Foley.
Lived with relatives near Killarney - possibly my mother's sister - married into 'Driscoll' family. My mother's mother died approximately three years later - approx. 1921/22.
My mother then went to live with her grandmother and family in Kenmare - house close to stone circles. Grandmother died approximatley six years later - another family name may be 'O'Donoghue'....
My mother had a 'sister' Maureen, a brother John and others.
Not much to go on but may stir some memories with someone - I would love to know more.
