"Fair Weather" Giant Fans Bail on Team...... Jet or Eagle fans would never do this
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Jeremy Shockey doesn't like either losing or
New York Giants' fans who leave with the game still on the line.
The All-Pro
tight end vented some leftover frustration from a 23-10 loss to Miami by
criticizing fans who left the stadium with six minutes to play and the
Dolphins ahead 16-10.
``Give up on us if you want to,'' Shockey said, his lower lip bulging with
chewing tobacco. ``If you want to leave, leave! Leave the game! Don't even
come to the game! Give your tickets away!''
``But when things are kind of hitting the fan and they are going bad, they
don't want to have any part of us, which is fine. We play for ourselves. We
play for ourselves and the coaches.''
... but the sight of people leaving and empty seats among the crowd of
78,863 was upsetting.

Eagles Games in the past have been blacked out even when tickets were given out to fill the stadium as well as sixers playoff games , so call me all the names you like but there's no substance to your allegations.

They were never given out(you giant dope)they were bought out by the local network affiliate if 2 or 3 thousand were still unsold by the Thurs prior to the game on Sunday.
Eagles games blacked out "IN THE PAST"?? your an idiot to make that arguement, thats what idiots do I guess.
No Eagles games were blacked out this year, you IMPLIED they were with your response. Now black pedaling to the past you look like a typical moRON. If Phila has a pop. of 1.8 million and NYC has a pop. of 8.5 million would you expect Giants fans to at least stay in there seats? 16-10 and they were bailing out like rats from a cat house, some fans.
