Ok, I guess I can accept the rivalry thing. I don't think I feel the same as you though. When the Giants lost the H-breaker to SF, one of my first thoughts was -Man, what tough loss for NY. I wasn't dancing on the TV
I'll still stand by my view that people in the NJ,PHI, NY area are rude, petty and least friendly. Although most people are friendly, this area has a higher percentage of the bad attributes compared to the other parts of the country I've lived.

Rude Folks -- Ron, 04:11:51 01/22/03 Wed
Having traveled extensively throughout the country and spending extended amounts of time in all different areas in the states I would concur, people in the tri-state area are some of the most overtly rude people I've had the displeasure of growing up with.
Whether on the road,in a public setting,or even inpeoples homes I've seen levels of rudeness unrivaled anywhere else in this country
