Subject: Baseball Field

What was Rich DeFeo crying about on the Pinky Kravitz show the other day? Someting about a new baseball field in Absecon and how come he didn't know about it. Help me out here...he sounded really distraught

Yeah-I did not hear all of what DeFeo said but I was surprised by some of the things that were said as part of the promo for the new field/league. It sounds like they will be serving the same athletes that Rich has been working with (Buddy Ball)-handicapped kids.

The new league said stuff like they are the only ones who are making a sports league for kids with handicaps. Also they are getting a lot of funding. I can see why Rich would be offended,he works really hard and has to depend on individual donations mainly. Buddy Ball spends just about every cent that they take in and they have a low budget. Yet Rich has kept the teams going and even added soccer games this year.

If the new league is acting like they never even heard of Buddy Ball-WHY?

If they haven't heard of Buddy Ball and they help kids with handicaps play sports??? Sounds to me like they stole his idea,used his idea to get funding,and won't even admit-(worse,they publicly said that it doesn't exist)-that Buddy Ball exsists.

Maybe the Buddy Ball kids could challenge their teams to a game?
