Now that I've had some time to adjust to the loss of my father, I just
wanted to add a short note thanking everyone who offerred words of
comfort as I and my family dealt with this sudden loss...those who
emailed or called, those who came to the memorial service and those
who offerred hugs and support at PCRF and at NYRF. I truly don't know
how I could have gotten through this without the support of the
rennies.

For those who were not able to attend, it moved myself and my family
beyond words that nearly half of those who attended Dad's memorial
serivce were rennies. The mix of people itself was moving as it was a
compilation of old friends, rennnies, and children/families that my
father had helped in his Drug and Alcohal prevention and counseling
program.

I am also deeply grateful to the New Jersey Renaissance Kingdom who
have posted a web memorial to Dad on their home page
(www.NJKingdom.com). That all of you have cared so much about Dad and
about the rest of the family has moved us more than words can ever
express.

Faire continues to be bittersweet, as I am so used to having Dad
there, but, already, I am able to realize that I would never be
feeling this sadness at faire if I hadn't been one of the lucky few
whose parents share their love of faire...and Dad has been showing me
in his own way that he is still with me at faire and always will be.

Once again, thank you to all of you for your support, that which has
already been given and that which is continuing as I work through my
grief.
