I've been sitting here for months with cookies and milk waiting for u guys Author: wart [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: 22:31:59 01/20/04 Tue Well Guy, I just noticed like a few weeks ago that on the new england rennie site this site is listed as another ren board that gets less traffic... or something rude to that effect. ;-P The only reason this site was started was because stacy ann had shut the orginal down (I checked and I had this site up before the evil duke's site replaced stacy ann's) i think some people too offense i would do such a thing and started to really push the evil dukes forum. They asked me to shut mine down...whatever ;-) Also, I made it so people had a place where they could say anything. remember how originally "rules" and censorship started happening on the old one? Evil duke doesn't seem to do that, plus there is always the hate board ;-) soooooo basically......... ....I didn't want anyone to miss out on keeping in touch, it was kind of a gift to the New England Rennies from a New Yorker. ;-) Anyway no one "HAS" to use this site, it's just kinda a safety net of sorts in case anybody shuts down their faire forum again or in case for some reason there is technical probs on the other basically. So people are probably choosing to post at just the evil duke's forum. Which makes sense, no reason to have to identical forums going with the same stuff. Remember when I had you guys all vote if I should shut it down or not in the beginning? This site is just gunna sit here and fester ;-) "Wench" start a ren related topic ..come on i'll play..Guy your in on this too. I think we need some gimmicks to get more people to play on this forum. Maybe everything has to be typed as if it were always talk like a pirate day. ;-) Maybe we need to make this not so family oriented and curse a lot. or maybe put a whole ren faire erotica twist on it ... come on people lets be honest...its all about cod pieces, bodices, long hair, hunks on horseback , and sharp pointy things ... i say we go out in a blaze of glory ...and make it so bad in here that that the voy people shut us down .... we need to put the "voyuer" back in the forums. Can I get some HUZZAHS? maybe we can get the evil duke to describe this as the sexually explicit ren faire board. They woo, fight, et cetra. There are three people right now (James Clever, Morgan handsome, and Bob daring) James Clever also plays a character in CTRF(Sir Ironsides). I don't know if Morgan Handsome or Bob Daring do any other faires. The reason I am so into Men of Action is that my dad said he'd give me $100 if I sang to James Clever, and I actually did it. James said he wanted me to start a fan club for the Men of Action, complete with a website and everything. So yeah, that's is basically all there is about the Men of Action... Richard (James Clever) is also involved with the Pastimes faires. He was in King Arthur, last year as well as Three Musketeers. I believe he will be involved in King Arthur again, this year.
