Hi Ken,

The Catalina was JX208 of 202 Sq Castle Archdale. It was on a Night Anti-Sub Patrol when in poor visability it flew into Stradbally Mt, Nr Castlegregory killing 9 crew on board. Quite a lot of wreckage remained at the site for many years, but in the late 70s early 80s a farmer removed much of it as sheep were being poisened by eating bits of wire & alloy. Sorry don`t have any crew details.

Regards.
Dave
