Hi Dave,

Many thanx for your reply message regarding the Vulcan.
We will obtain photos once weather improves. It's been nil visability these past few days on & off!

The crash site you mention is to the south of Aboyne. Once again, from local enquiries, it is the site you describe. We aim to visit this too, in the near future.

A better location of the site that we are enquiring about, it is the north of Aboyne. The map ref. is OS Explorer map N0. 405 (Aboyne, Alford & Strathdon) ~ Grid Ref. 384045. It is on the North East side of Morven & to the east of a feature called Windy Cairn, at approx 700 metres.

We will be in touch shortly & hope that this latest info. will shed more light on this site.

Thanx once again for your help.

Sincerely,

Alex Skinner.
