On a website (http://www.bentwaters.org/findpeople/special.htm) a correspondent (Eddie Friel, now living in New Zealand) writes "I was born in County Donegal, Ireland, and on the 10th Feb 1945 a Canadian Air Force bomber crash-landed on our beach at Portsalon".
